This is what we started with for this resto mod build. It was a very nice driver.
Going to get a very new face lift!
Disassembly includes removing the engine.
Full drive train is removed.
We continue disassemble
Pretty good shape.
Is now set up on the fabrication table to ensure all work is level and square.
Welding work
Big Block Dodge will be fuel injected.
Fitting new wheels and tires
Test fitting new fenders and the front end.
Floor modifications continue.
Interior mockup.
Mock up of front drive accessories and rad for ajdustment for adequate room and sufficient clearance.
Front sheet metal is being fit.
This build, as per our customer's request is going to change the 1970 front end to a 1969 charger.
Car is rolling so we took it outside to blow it off. A perfect chance to get a picture of this stage of the build.
The conversion process is looking more complete with the headlight doors opening and closing.
Note the long fenders!
Metal work to the rad support so it accomodates the coolers.
Fitment and clearance must be verified at every stage of the build.

Building a Resto-rod requires a great deal of planning, design and fabrication.
Doing a major change to the front end of any car involves overcoming many issues. We want the end results to be a better fit and alignment.
