When this car arrived at Joey's Place it had a Full Art Morrison Frame had been set under it. The car came from another shop where this work set the direction of our starting point.

Our assessment clearly showed this car had a history (the owner confrimed) and there was much work ahead to make this car speactacular.

Fabricating-builing a new firewall to accommodate placing the engine further back.

We mentioned the car had a history. This was evident in the car body. It was very rusted and showed clear evidence of being rolled. We learned that unfortunately on it's maiden voyage it was rolled and settled upside down in a ditch. In its later life it was left in a field where trees grew up through it.

We fabricated a full floor that accommodated the full frame, the transission tunnel, console, seal mounts and so much more.

Car is progessing as we move through many task.

 Note the hand formed inner aprons as well as the hand made inner structure which supports and strengthens.

The new full frame was clearly visible under the rocker panels. To deal with this we cut and shaped three additional inches to extend the body.

The paint finish begins in correct work in the early stages of prepping the car.

In house design for the sil plates. They mimic the style of custom plate covering the rad and the front engine compartment plate.  

First Layer is Black

This is a complex paint job. All surfaces were first painted black, then white pearl, followed by three coats of House of Kolor red and finished with multiply layers of clear.

Yes it is very beautiful.

Deep Candy Apply Red

A fuel injected big block Ford with every mechanical part ungraded.

New gauges-instrumentation was absolutelly required.

Much attention to detail and time to carry out the necessary tedious work was often required for this one of a kind build.

This is the first set of wheels the customer wanted but as the build evolved his taste changed.
