We did a full councours restoration of the Shelby.
This is the starting point of this complete frame off restoration.
Disassembly begins: Pulling the engine to have it rebuilt.
Preserving the original fitment was critical so everyhthing was documented prior to or during disassembly.
Details of originality continue.
Preserving the metal brace at the top of the firewall.

Bare metal shell shows how much and what work will be needed.
Minimum repairs were required for the lower rockers and fenders.
Body work.
The underbody was also sandblasted and an epoxy coating was applied.

The outer body is in primer.
Panels going through the prime application.

Body/shell is painted the original black.
Matt black is applied to the engine compartment.
Shelby is a beautifull black
Black is finished before the gold ralley stripes were masked off and painted.

Paint work is winding down.
The wet sanding and polishing work enhance the finish and flatten the line from laying the stripes.
The rebuilt engine is being installed.
